BAGUIO CITY – The Saint Louis University Center for Culture and the Arts emerged as champions in the street dancing competition of the 29th Panagbenga Festival with the theme “Blossoms Beyond Boundaries” in Baguio City, on February 22. Their rendition of a dance entitled “Bagbagto” tells a story of a young cordilleran girl learning to chant to pray for rain. A tribute to the power of water to sustain life through agriculture to provide food to the tribes. A central theme that resonates in the central theme of the Spring Festival.
