The Baguio City 2024 Spring Festival was celebrated with a Grand Colorful Parade that was held on February 13 at 2 in the afternoon. Members of the Filipino-Chinese Community participated in the parade which included Martial Arts demonstrations, traditional dances and costumes.
The streets were filled with thousands of people, many of them children who were there to get candies and trinkets from the paraders.
Showcasing Artistic Brilliance
One of the highlights of the parade is the display of artistic brilliance through various performances and exhibitions. Foremost of which was Dragon Dances. Talented local artists took center stage, captivating audiences with their mesmerizing dances, melodious music, and awe-inspiring artistry. From traditional folk dances to contemporary interpretations, the performances reflect the dynamism of Chinese art and culture.
