Baguio City is home to a large Chinese community, and, the Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is a much-anticipated event that brings the community together. The festival typically lasts for 15 days and is filled with traditional customs, such as the lion and dragon dances, and the sharing of gifts.
The highlight of the celebration is the Grand Spring Festival Parade to be held January 27 in Session Road.
